Limited Edition: Olive Edition Traveler's Notebook

So, if you are like me, a fan of the Traveler's notebook, then you would know that the Olive TN has been released in Japan. I pre-ordered from Baum-Kuchen, but due to a limited amount that was sent to them, I missed ordering through the email that they sent out with the link to order. However, I know Wakako said that there'll be a second order. Knowing that, I scoured the website and ordered from Nomado store with another fellow TN-enthusiast. Hopefully, the next time I post, I'll have the Olive in my arms and will post pictures. *cue voice of Smeagol... my preciousssss.... 😊

Anyway, I ordered the pen loop and the brass pen - might as well grab the whole collection. I remember with the Blue Pan Am, I didn't get the pen loop and the ziplocked insert that they offer as well, and am now regretting it. So, this time around, I made sure that I would not regret this later on.

Knowing that I have quite a few TNs from Traveler's Factory, I know that the question what to do with this new TN has been circulating. For me, I know that this is something that I collect - I rarely spend much on fashion and shoes, mostly I like going out to try new restaurants and places to eat, and stationery. Before, I would hoard collect buy pens and notebooks, but ever since I found out about the Traveler's notebook, I've stopped buying other notebooks. I only use these type of notebooks (with occasional Leuchtturm 1917 popping in once in a while), and also stop buying pens. I'm trying to be more conscious of the waste I produced and find that my pen addiction collection is probably not healthy for the environment. I've been using my fountain pen, and am slowly saving up to get the bottled ink and a converter. That way, I will definitely not produce waste - especially since fountain pen cartridges are made of plastic.

Also, in preparation for my Olive TN, I recently got myself the khavi/navy TSLxBK Travel For Life wallet to use with it. It looks amazing and I was torn in between this color and the orange/grey combo. Upon receiving the item from BK, I was thinking that a passport sized would be perfect. I didn't think much about it, cause I wasn't sure if that was an option. A few days ago, Wakako posted on her Instagram that they are producing the passport sized one and of course I jumped at the chance to grab the orange/grey combo. It was a great thing that she posted it a few days after she posted that Baum-Kuchen are offering the A5 slim size for their Roterfaden. I was freaking out as I was contemplating about getting a Roterfaden and the A5 slim size would be perfect. I'm glad I waited a few days before grabbing the Roterfaden cause I went with the TSLxBK orange/grey passport Travel For Life wallet instead.

This is a pre-order and will be shipped out in May. I am so freaking excited as the past month, I'v been using my passport as my EDC. My shoulder and lower back have been thanking me ever since. With little booboo around, I needed to downsize and I love the fact that the Traveler's notebook is so versatile that it can work with your current lifestyle and its needs. That's one thing that I appreciate about the Traveler's notebook, when I found out about them 31/2 years ago. I have been so grateful that it came into my radar and I have not look at other planners ever since.
